Arsenal confirmed line-up v Lincoln City: 26-year-old out in four changes

By Alex Stevens

Arsene Wenger has made four changes to his side to face non-league side Lincoln City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

26-year-old Danny Welbeck is out with sickness, Alex Iwobi, Nacho Monreal and Francis Coquelin drop to the bench.

Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Kieran Gibbs come in to a strong line-up, with Olivier Giroud starting up top again.

Wenger will be expecting his team to do the business against a non-league side who have exceeded expectations to get to the quarter-finals.

But Wenger knows it won’t be easy and a slip-up could be the final straw, with his contract due to end in the summer.

The team news was released on Arsenal’s official Twitter page on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal have had a disastrous few weeks that has seen them lose 10-2 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, sandwiched by 3-1 losses to both Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League.

The FA Cup represents Arsenal’s last realistic shot at silverware after a hugely disappointing season.

They are currently fifth in the Premier League, two points outside the Champions League qualifying spots and 16 points behind league-leaders Chelsea, although they do have a game in hand.

The FA Cup match against Lincoln game kicks off at 5.30pm at the Emirates.
