Aston Villa fans express their worry for 24-year-old after win against Norwich
By Amir Mir
Scott Hogan limped off for Aston Villa during their 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday afternoon – and fans on Twitter expressed their worry for the striker.
The 24-year-old was replaced by Jordan Amavi after 37 minutes as Steve Bruce’s side went on to clinch yet another three points on home soil.
Prior to going off, Hogan had played a huge part in Jonathan Kodjia opening the scoring when his pass resulted in the Ivory Coast international netting his 16th goal of the campaign.
But, 12 minutes later, Hogan was off the field, a big worry for supporters because the club’s January signing only recently returned from injury.
Hogan picked up an ankle injury during the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle in February which resulted in him missing five Championship matches.

Fans were frustrated, annoyed and worried for the player as he has picked up yet another injury in his career.
One supporter stated that Hogan is worse than Villa centre-back Nathan Baker when it comes to injuries, with the club’s academy product also having his fair share of problems.
Nonetheless, Bruce’s side went on to clinch their fifth win in six games as they continue to climb up the table.
Seven matches of the season now remain and Villa will welcome Ian Holloway’s QPR to Villa Park on Tuesday night.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Hopefully Hogan's injury is nothing serious. So light on forwards, especially is anything happens to Kodjia #avfc

Over the course of the season, Hogan has played 30 Championship games, scoring 15 goals, mainly for his previous club Brentford.
Prior to the international break, Hogan netted his first goal for the club when he scored a header during the 2-0 win at Wigan.
