Birmingham announced the sacking of manager Gary Rowett on Wednesday afternoon – and Aston Villa fans on Twitter believe it’s a crazy decision.
The 42-year-old had been in charge of Villa’s fierce rivals since October 27 2014, joining from Burton.
He led 106 matches in total with a return of 42 wins, 32 draws and 32 losses.

The Midlands outfit are currently outside of the play-offs on goal difference with Rowett’s final match in charge a 2-1 win at home against Ipswich on Tuesday evening.
The decision has shocked many in football, including Aston Villa fans.
The supporters on Twitter shared their disbelief at the news on social media, while others were humorously suggesting it was because he’s a Villa fan.
Additionally, some were even keen to see him make the switch to Villa Park.

Birmingham are currently six places and six points above their fierce rivals Aston Villa.
However, the managerial change has the potential to seriously destabilise their season and see Brum rocket down the table.
The two rivals have already met each other in October, playing out a 1-1 draw with goals from David Davis and Gary Gardner.
They are set to meet each other again in April for match 44 in a big encounter at Villa Park.
