Aston Villa will make two more 'marquee signings' after Grealish reveal - Kenny
Aston Villa could make “two marquee signings” before the transfer window closes.
So says former top-flight shot-stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider as Jack Grealish nears his Villa Park exit.
This site first broke news yesterday (4th August) that the 25-year-old will have a medical with Man City today after Villa accepted their bid.
The fee, £75million plus a potential £25m in add-ons, is partly structured depending on performance.
Danny Ings was confirmed as Villa’s fourth transfer this summer last night and the Midlands club have now spent close to £100m on new recruits.
And Kenny predicts that the Grealish money will be directly reinvested in the playing budget.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “I don’t see why it wouldn’t be reinvested in the transfer market, maybe two marquee signings.
“They have got owners who are in a healthy financial situation. They might just stick that fee in their back pocket and go out and spend that money again.
“If you were to get maybe two more players in, that could really strengthen the squad.
“They are going to want to go out and do even better than they did last year, even if Grealish isn’t there.“
Football Insider first revealed on 28th July that Grealish, whose Villa deal runs until 2025, was nearing a Man City switch.
And a Villa source told this site today that Tyrone Mings is set to be named the club’s new captain.
