Bags packed: Tottenham set to complete double deal after talks breakthrough – sources
Tottenham are confident that they will complete the signings of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner in the next 48 hours, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that Werner’s loan move from RB Leipzig has been fully agreed and he is undergoing a medical after arriving in London on Monday (8 January).
The permanent signing of Dragusin is also now in its final stages and the deal for the Genoa centre-back is now all but done following a breakthrough in talks.

Spurs have offered the Serie A side an initial £21.5million for the Romania international as well as an extra £4.3million in add-ons.
If a full agreement can be secured, both players could be Tottenham players in the next 48 hours in what would be an impressively agile start to the January window for the club.
Dragusin is primed to pack his bags and follow Werner in heading to London for what would likely be a medical as soon as a full agreement in placed.
Werner has netted just two goals across 14 appearances in Germany this season but is eager for a return to the Premier League and to reignite his career in London.
It comes as star man and captain Heung-min Son is absent at the Asia Cup for potentially more than a month in a devastating blow to Tottenham’s already stretched resources, with playmaker James Maddison also a long-term absentee.
Moreover, Tottenham have been in desperate need of further depth in their backline following serious injuries to key players, including Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies.
They also look set to lose defender Eric Dier in January, with Football Insider revealing (5 January) that he has agreed a sensational move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Spurs also remain active in trying to sell midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, but sources have told Football Insider (8 January) that his move to Juventus has hit the rocks due to his loan fee.
Tottenham advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup after their 1-0 win over Burnley on Friday (5 January) and next face Man United at Old Trafford on Sunday (14 January).
