'Best bit of business Rangers will do all summer' - McManus reacts on Twitter to striker signing
By Harvey Byrne
Former Hibernian striker Tam McManus believes that Joe Garner’s move to Ipswich is the best piece of business Rangers will do this summer.
The Gers confirmed on their official Twitter account on Friday evening that the 29-year-old would be returning to England after just one season at Ibrox.

Garner struggled in his single season at Rangers with a return of just seven Premiership goals in 31 league appearances.
But, he was often hailed for his work rate and fans wished him well as he left the club for that reason.
However, McManus had a different view of the powerhouse and on Friday evening he posted via his personal Twitter account that it was “great business” as Rangers actually received a fee for Garner.

Garner was one of former manager Mark Warburton’s biggest signings at the club after joining from Preston for a huge £1.5million.
He will now be looking to recapture his past form in England which has seen him play for such clubs as Nottingham Forest and Watford.
Rangers, meanwhile are still expected to add Alfredo Morelos and Eduardo Herrera to their forward line this summer as the Ibrox giants look to close the gap with fierce rivals Celtic.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have received an emphatic response to fresh attacker bid.
