‘Big fraud’, ‘Get rid’, ‘Shocker’: Arsenal fans have had it with one attacker despite win V CSKA
Arsenal took a huge step towards the semi-finals of the Europa League with a convincing 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow, but not everyone performed in front of the home fans.
Arsenal fans saved most of their anger for Jack Wilshere though, after a really poor performance, that eventually saw him subbed off towards the end.
Arsenal took the lead at the Emirates through Aaron Ramsey after he’d had an earlier effort disallowed.
And he scored a stunning second with a back heel chip over the CSKA keeper.
His two were sandwiched by a brace from Alexandre Lacazette, making his first start for Arsenal since January.
Wilshere, on the other hand, couldn’t seem to do anything right, misplacing so many passes one fan called him a “big fraud” and wanted him shipped off to West Ham.
Another said he had a shocking performance, while another said “get rid” and claimed he’s not half the player he used to be.
Barring a disaster in Russia, Arsenal will be one step closer to a Champions League place this season, but fans haven’t forgiven Wilshere for his part in the win.
