Caixinha made big mistake with 22-year-old attacker: Rangers summer departures rated

By James Black

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has been busy this summer.

Eleven new signings and eleven departures sees the Portuguese boss working with a much-changed squad from the one which he inherited last season from Mark Warburton.

Some fan favourites were allowed to move on after their contracts expired and others sold on before they could leave for nothing at the end of the season.

Ultimately, it’s allowed Caixinha to build his own squad as he aims to challenge Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.

With such a turnover of players it’s no surprise Caixinha’s side have taken a little time to get going this season but has he got rid of players who could have been the difference between success and failure?
