Clint Hill: No one at Rangers is working harder than this senior man

By Harvey Byrne

Clint Hill has shared that no one is working harder at Rangers than caretaker boss Graeme Murty.

The Ibrox giants are currently going through a poor spell of form which has seen them lose three and draw one of their last four Premiership encounters.

Murty has taken charge of two of those matches, losing both against Inverness and Dundee while his only win came in the Scottish Cup with a fifth round 2-1 victory over Championship side Greenock Morton.

The 42-year-old senior man has come in for heavy criticism alongside those playing for the club, but Hill has told in his press conference on Monday morning, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account that no one at the club is working harder than Murty.

It is expected that the full time manager’s position will go to someone else with a lot of big names linked to the Rangers position.

However, Murty will still be keen to impress in his first job in senior management since retiring in 2010.

A big club like Rangers is certainly not the easiest of starts for any rookie boss and it has been a far from ideal first season back in the Premiership for the side.

But, a win against St. Johnstone on Wednesday could be the start of the end to their recent bad spell.

In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has named this Gers ace in his team of the week.
