Newcastle have revealed that Far Eastern Gaming company FUN88 have become their shirt sponsors in a three-year deal.
The club confirmed on their official website on Monday afternoon that the gaming company will become the primary partner of the club from next season after the paperwork was finalised on the deal.
The Magpies secured promotion back to the Premier League this season when they won the Championship title under the stewardship of Rafa Benitez.
Newcastle are set to celebrate their 125th anniversary upon their return to the top tier of English football.
Lee Charnley, who is the managing director at the club, was pleased with the deal as the club embark on an “exciting” Premier League campaign.
Benitez’ side secured promotion in April, but it was only until the last day of the season that they secured the title.
Chris Hughton’s Brighton were in the driving seat to secure promotion by winning the Championship crown but they slipped up at Aston Villa.
Jack Grealish’s last minute winner added with the fact that Newcastle had beaten Barnsley 3-0, handed the north east club the title.
During their relegation season in the Premier League, Benitez’ team secured an impressive 5-1 win against Tottenham on the last day of the season.
They only recorded nine wins during that campaign, suffering 19 defeats, a big contrast to their 29 wins from 46 matches this term.
In other Newcastle news, the club are set to seal this shock forward signing.
