Senior Newcastle trio Matz Sels, Massadio Hairdara and Sammy Ameobi were demoted to the Under-23s for the Saturday afternoon clash against West Ham.
Summer goalkeeper signing Sels has featured in the last two matches for the Magpies youth team after losing his place between to sticks to Karl Darlow earlier in the season, while Rob Elliot has also returned from injury.
Meanwhile, Haidara is making his first appearance for the youth team since November, while Ameobi last took to the field for the Under-23s in August.
Newcastle confirmed that all three senior men would be starting in the youth team to face West Ham at St. James’ Park on their official Twitter account ahead of the Saturday match.

Haidara, 24, has played just twice for the Newcastle first team this season with both appearances coming in the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Ameobi, also 24, has played three times for the Magpies’ seniors after returning from a first half season loan from League One side Bolton.
Sels, who was brought in by manager Rafa Benitez in the summer to be the club’s number one has not played in the league since September after a number of rocky starts.
The three players will be looking to impress the coaching staff and possible scouts in the 1.00pm kick off at St. James’ Park.
