Confusion reigns over club at centre of mega money offer for prolific Rangers star

There is confusion over which Chinese club has reportedly has bid £8million for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Sky Sports correspondent Andrew Dickson had originally claimed, as reported on his Twitter account, that Guangzhou Evergrande were the club who made the bid.

However he amended his claim less than half-an-hour later, stating that it is Beijing Renhe who have reportedly made the offer for the 21-year-old.

Morelos has been the subject of much speculation surrounding his future, with Rangers seemingly determined not to let the Colombian leave the club.
Morelos, who joined the Light Blues in the summer from HJK Helsinki, is the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership, having scored 11 goals so far in the competition.

The confusion over the club that is reportedly interested in Morelos will add even more intrigue to the reported bids for Morelos. No matter who the side is that are bidding for the player, the Gers seem resolute that their top scorer isn’t for sale. Of course the player is interested in a move, as he will earn far more money in China than he currently does playing in Scotland. Added to this is the fact that the Chinese transfer window doesn’t close until February, means that this story may have a while to run yet, although this is of no benefit to the Light Blues who would no doubt like the player’s future to be sorted out soon one way or another.
