Declan John delivers Twitter verdict on Rangers win over Aberdeen
Rangers left-back Declan John has saluted his team-mates on social media for their 2-1 victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday.
The Gers managed to withstand second-half pressure from the Dons after being reduced to ten men – due to the sending-off of Ryan Jack – to win the game thanks to goals from Danny Wilson and Josh Windass.
And John, who was part of the Rangers defence which repelled Aberdeen, used his personal Twitter account to laud his team-mates for both of their victories over the Dons last week.
“Six points this week terrific performance again from all the boys” he stated after a great week for Rangers ended with them overtaking Aberdeen into second spot in the Scottish Premiership table, having started the week six points behind the Pittodrie side.

The Light Blues have the opportunity to win the three league games in a row for the first time in a year when they take on Ross County at Ibrox.
Express reporter Bruce Archer has claimed on his personal Twitter account Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes will be in charge of Rangers for that game.

McInnes has been odds-on favourite to get the job after the sacking of Pedro Caixinha in October.
If that is the case interim manager Graeme Murty can be satisfied with his week’s work as he has rescued a Gers side which seemed on the verge of imploding.
In other Rangers news, Josh Windass praised David Bates for his performance in today’s game
