Declan Rice, Kieran Trippier react to Harry Kane amid Arsenal and Newcastle links
Arsenal ace Declan Rice and Newcastle star Kieran Trippier reacted to Harry Kane on social media after the England captain was linked with a return to the Premier League.
The England captain scored twice for Bayern Munich as they dismantled German champions Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the Champions League (5 March).
Bayern are now in pole position to qualify for the quarter-finals, having controversially beaten Celtic in the first knockout round.
Due to the draw, the Bavarian side will not meet an English club until the final, with Liverpool and Arsenal both on the other side of the bracket.

Harry Kane linked with sensational moves to Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle
Kane has been linked with a return to Tottenham, following news of a £54million release clause in his Bayern Munich contract.
Despite his history at Spurs, Arsenal have also emerged as suitors for Kane, causing painful memories of Sol Campbell’s controversial cross-town move for Tottenham fans.
However, it is not just the two North London sides tipped for a move for the free-scoring Englishman, with Newcastle linked as a potential destination for Kane.
The England captain has remained tight-lipped on the matter, and posted on his Instagram after the win against Leverkusen, captioned: “Half the job done. What a night at the Allianz!”
The post was then liked by Rice and Trippier, with both players potential club teammates for Kane, should he choose to leave Munich in the summer.
Harry Kane’s playmaking perfectly suits Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side
Football Insider Verdict
Putting aside his previous ties to Tottenham for a moment, Kane might just be the perfect striker for Arteta’s Arsenal side.
England’s all-time top scorer does exactly that, score goals, but the nuances to the 31-year-olds game make him on of the game’s best.

Arteta wants a striker who can be the focal point of the team, dropping off to link the midfield and attack, whilst also moving into the channels to create passing triangles with their teammates.
Kai Havertz does that exceptionally well, the German has been a midfielder for most of his career, however, the former Chelsea man is not an elite goal-scorer, and that has held Arsenal back at times this season.
Kane’s goal-scoring numbers are astonishing, he sits second in the all-time Premier League scoring charts, but his assist tally is the part that will make him such an interesting proposition for Arteta.
The former Spurs striker registered 17 assists in all competitions in the 2020/21 season, and has continued to set-up his teammates at an elite level since then, registering 20 assists in two season in Germany.
