'Do you know what?' - Exclusive: Top pundit in 'Massive' Leeds-White claim
Leeds United may be able to re-sign Ben White from Brighton if Lewis Dunk remains with the Seagulls this summer, according to Darren Bent.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former England striker claims that it would be a “massive blow” for the Whites were they unable to re-sign the 22-year-old.
As revealed by Football Insider, Leeds have not given up hope on signing the centre-back this summer despite Brighton manager Graham Potter revealing he plans to make the defender part of the senior side.
💬 "We see @ben6white
as part of our plan.
"Everyone won, he got great experience and @LUFC
got their goal of promotion.
"We rate Ben highly, I've followed his career closely, we like him a lot.

Bent has lauded the Leeds loanee for his performances at Elland Road and suggests that the future 28-year-old Dunk could determine whether he stays or goes.
Bent told Football Insider: “The one they need to get is Ben White, he is the one because if they don’t tie him down, someone else is going to take him.
“It’s going to be a massive blow because he’s been absolutely superb this season. Do you know what I think it depends on? If Lewis Dunk is still there.

“He’s a top player and he doesn’t get the credit he deserves, Lewis Dunk, and at some stage someone’s going to have to take a chance on him. I know his price tag’s quite high and I know he’s getting on in age but he’s still in good nick, he can still defend and he’s what you’d call a proper centre-half.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if someone was to come and get Lewis Dunk and then Ben White slips into that role where he’s the ready-made replacement.”
White has played every minute of Leeds’ Championship-winning campaign this season, with a total of 47 appearances under his belt at Elland Road.
The Whites sealed both promotion and the league title without kicking a ball after West Brom and Brentford suffered defeats.
