Dominic Solanke, Declan Rice react as Harry Kane sends ‘excited’ message

Tottenham and Arsenal stars have reacted as Harry Kane shared an update on social media from the England training ground.

North London rivals Dominic Solanke and Declan Rice have put aside their differences as the Three Lions prepare for back-to-back home games against Albania and Latvia as Thomas Tuchel‘s reign begins at St George’s Park.

Kane, who has been linked with a shock move to Man United, has been in incredible form over in Germany, scoring 76 goals in 82 appearances since joining Bayern Munich.

The 31-year-old will be confident in his abilities to, not only lead England to the next World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico but also help lift the trophy for the first time since 1966.

Taking to Instagram [20 March], Kane wrote: “England camp so far! Brilliant to be back with the boys and working with the gaffer again. Excited to get our World Cup qualifying underway,” with three lion emojis.

Solanke and Rice both liked the post, as did Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa, and his Bayern teammates Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala, who will be hoping to win the World Cup with Germany next year.

Thomas Tuchel auditioning to keep England job over Eddie Howe

Tuchel has just 18 months to prove himself worthy of leading the Three Lions forward, because if not, Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe is expected to take over.

Of course, the Magpies would be distraught should the former Bournemouth figure leave St James’ Park so soon after helping the club to end its 70-year silverware drought, beating Liverpool to the EFL Cup.

With Kane and Solanke joined by Jarrod Bowen, Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon and Jude Bellingham, there is almost too much goal threat for one manager to deal with.

That is even without Ollie Watkins, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke, who could potentially make their way back into the squad before England jet off to World Cup 2026.

While the era of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard were never able to work together and bring silverware back to England, new rivals look set to put their differences aside for the country.
