Dominic Solanke reacts to Tosin Adarabioyo’s dig at Rasmus Hojlund
Tosin Adarabioyo was in high spirits on social media and posted a cheeky dig at Rasmus Hojlund after Chelsea’s victory over Man United.
Chelsea moved a step closer to securing a Champions League spot for next season with a hard-fought 1–0 win at Stamford Bridge.
Marc Cucurella netted the only goal of the match, heading home after a dazzling bit of footwork from Reece James, who delivered a perfectly weighted cross to the far post.
The match wasn’t short on controversy, however. Harry Maguire thought he had levelled the score, only for his effort to be ruled out for offside by the semi-automated technology.
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett later said that the offside rule should be changed, calling for a review in the wake of such marginal decisions.
Meanwhile, Adarabioyo turned in a calm and assured performance at the back for Chelsea, helping lead the defensive line to another vital clean sheet in the club’s push for European football.

After the victory, the centre-back posted an upbeat message on Instagram, writing: “Our house! Thank you Blues, 2 more to go.”
However, the post also included a series of images, one of which showed Adarabioyo standing over Rasmus Hojlund while the United forward was on the floor.

The post drew attention across the league, with reactions from Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke, Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, and Chelsea teammates Nicolas Jackson and Pedro Neto, all liking the post.
Adarabioyo has been a reliable figure in Enzo Maresca’s side this season, delivering composed displays when called upon.
He has made 36 appearances for the club, and amid injuries to key defenders such as Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, his presence has become crucial to the backline.
Football Insider previously revealed that Chelsea rejected interest from West Ham in January, opting to keep Adarabioyo — a decision that has been justified by his consistent performances.

Enzo Maresca under sack pressure despite Champions League push
Despite the Blues sitting just three points away from securing a Champions League spot and reaching the Conference League final, Maresca has come under mounting pressure.
Chelsea fans previously called for Maresca to be sacked over inconsistent league form and ongoing defensive vulnerabilities, prompting speculation over the manager’s long-term future.
Securing qualification for Europe’s top competition could prove pivotal in determining whether the board keeps faith in the Italian and If he delivers Champions League football, the pressure surrounding his position will likely ease.
