Dominic Solanke sends message to Tottenham teammate after eight devastating blows
Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke took to social media to send a message to teammate Radu Dragusin after his most recent injury setback.
The 23-year-old is set to miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Tottenham’s 3-0 Europa League win over Swedish side Elfsborg.
Dragusin was clearly devastated as he was forced off the pitch, with many fans suggesting the club is ‘cursed’ after their rotten injury luck so far this season.
Ange Postecoglu’s side currently have eight players sidelined through injury, although Mikey van de Ven has returned, making his first appearance since early December in the win over Elfsorg.
Tottenham launched a late-window, £70million bid for Marc Guehi as a potential solution to their defensive injury crisis but saw the offer rejected.
Spurs did manage to get one defender in ahead of deadline day, signing Kevin Danso on loan with an obligation to buy for a reported fee of £21million.

Dragusin has had plenty of opportunities at Spurs due to their ongoing injury crisis, starting 25 of his 28 games across all competitions and providing zero goal contributions in his 2179 minutes of action.
Solanke, 27, who is also out injured, has been key since joining in the summer, starting 24 of his 29 games across all competitions, scoring 11 goals, and providing six assists in his 2248 minutes on the field.
The striker took to Instagram to send a message to his newly injured teammate, wishing him well by saying: “We with you bro.”

Tottenham will be hoping they’re able to keep hold of their dangerous 1-0 aggregate lead as they head to Anfield for their League Cup semi-final second leg on Thursday (February 6).
