Ekuban signed for Leeds in a four-year deal from Chievo Verona in the summer for a fee of £500k.
He came up through the Chievo youth ranks and was loaned to several sides including Lumezzane and FK Partizani before landing his move to the English Championship.
Manager Thomas Christiansen will be hoping that he’s unearthed a gem and a goal-scoring back-up to main striker Chris Wood is just what Leeds need.
In other Leeds news, Noel Whelan has predicted the Whites’ score against Port Vale.
