Report: European giants enter hunt for Rangers' attacking sensation

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are plotting a swoop for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to reports in Turkey.
According to, Morelos is on a list of targets drawn up to replace misfiring duo Vincent Janssen and Robert Soldado.
The prolific Colombian was subject to bids from Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe during the January transfer window and has now caught the eye of the 19-times Turkish champions.
Morelos only joined Rangers last summer in a £1million move from HJK Helsinki in Finland and has been a sensation at Ibrox, hitting the net 13 times in 29 appearances for the Light Blues.
Morelos is the top goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership this season with 11 league strikes to his name.
Football Insider verdict:
Here we go again. Thankfully, the Turkish transfer window is closed until the end of the season so Morelos is going nowhere for the time being. If Fenerbahce want to come in and offer crazy money come June or July then it is something worth considering it Rangers can replace Morelos easily, and cheaply, enough. Few Rangers fans will want to see Morelos depart but with the money that could potentially be on offer it would be something the Gers need to seriously consider. At only 21, Morelos should only get better and if he can keep up his goalscoring form, Rangers could be looking at even more than was on offer in January.
In other Rangers news, it can be revealed that a key first teamer has sensationally asked to leave after the board failed to stick to their promise of giving him a new deal during the transfer window.
