Everton set for loan deal with Turkish giants for big money striker – report
By Alex Taylor
Everton forward Oumar Niasse is preparing for a loan move to Galatasaray, according to a report.
Haberciniz claim that the striker, who signed for the Toffees from Lokomotiv Moscow on deadline day for £13.5million pounds in January, will spend next season in Turkey.
Niasse was the club’s third most expensive signing in their history but will be considered a flop if he does not return to Goodison Park.
The forward has not featured against Barnsley, MK Dons, Dynamo Dresden or Real Beatis in the club’s pre-season fixtures and is not currently listed as injured by the club.
It is also believed that Galatasaray’s Turkish rivals Fenerbache could be keen on a move as they look to replace the departing Robin van Persie this summer.
The Blue’s are going through wholesale changes this summer after appointing Koeman as their new manager, seeing Farhad Moshiri become the club’s majority shareholder and making Steve Walsh their new director of football.
In other Everton transfer news, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he is interested in signing defender John Stones.
