Ex-striker blown away by 'mouthwatering' potential Grealish switch to Man City after £90m reveal
Frank McAvennie claims Jack Grealish would excel at Manchester City alongside Kevin De Bruyne.
The former West Ham forward, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the Aston Villa attacker’s future.
On Tuesday (13th July), Football Insider revealed Man City are lining up a £90million bid for Grealish.
It is understood City have spent months laying the groundwork for the deal.
Grealish signed a new five-year contract last September that runs until the summer of 2025.
The attacker has been on England duty this summer and helped his country finish as runners up in Euro 2020.

McAvennie claims the prospect of Grealish and De Bruyne playing together is “mouthwatering”.
“Pep can’t afford a striker but he can afford Grealish? OK then,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Does he need Grealish? He’s a wonderful talent. I don’t get why he doesn’t start for England. I rate him so highly.
“Him at Man City, him and De Bruyne, my god. They would excel together.
“It’s mouthwatering. They would be wonderful to watch. As if they needed any more good players.
“I hope he doesn’t leave Villa but from his point of view, why would he say no to City?”
Guardiola has been quoted by Sky Sports as telling Catalan network TV3 that signing a striker will be “impossible” this summer.
That came after the same outlet reported Manchester City had bid £100million for Harry Kane.
