Everton have fielded a number of loan enquiries for striker Fraser Hornby from a host of League One and Scottish Premiership clubs, Football Insider understands.

Hornby has fallen down the pecking order at the club following the recent arrival of Moise Kean from Juventus to add to their attacking options.

The 19-year-old has been away with the first-team during pre-season, but a source close to Everton has told Football Insider that the club is ready to loan him so that he get valuable first-team experience under his belt.

Several League One and Scottish Premiership sides have made their interest known to Everton and they are now waiting to see where the Toffees are willing to send the teenager out to for his first loan stint.

Hornby joined Everton from Northampton in 2014 and he is very highly-rated at Goodison Park.

The Scotland Under-21 international made his first-team debut in a Europa League clash with Apollon Limassol in 2017 and he has been a regular scorer in the club’s Under-23s side.

In other Everton news, Danny Mills has been blown away by impact of ‘superb’ Everton figure.
