Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan is wanted by West Brom before Thursday’s transfer deadline, Football Insider understands.
Stoke City and Bristol City are also keen on the player who joined Villa from Brentford in the summer of 2017 for just over £9million.
Championship trio Stoke, West Brom and Bristol City are all in the market for striking reinforcements before the transfer window closes and they have made enquiries to Villa about Hogan’s availability.
Hogan’s future at Villa is uncertain after he spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield United.
The Republic of Ireland international scored two goals in eight appearances for Sheffield United, helping the club win promotion back to the Premier League.
Hogan has been back at Villa for pre-season, but his first-team opportunities look limited following Villa’s massive overhaul to their squad in the transfer window.
Now, a source close to Aston Villa has told Football Insider that the three clubs are all keen to take the striker of their books.
Villa are understood to be in the market for another striker before the transfer window slams shut and if they get one in they are likely to sanction a departure for Hogan.
