Many fans were talking about Ryan Kent’s first-team chances this season, but it seems more likely that Kent will be loaned out to get more experience, with the Premier League another step up.
The Birmingham Mail claimed that Jurgen Klopp wanted him to go out to gain more first-team experience and that Villa were the favourites to secure his signature.
The newspaper also claimed that Leeds and Middlesborough were keen on claiming his as their own for the season.
With a new contract signed, it’s likely to become clear fairly quickly where his next steps lie.
But it’s obvious that Klopp and the Liverpool hierarchy rate his chances of making a dent on the senior team in the future.
