Fulham must complete multiple new signings as Adama Traore heads to new club
Adama Traore is on the verge of joining Nottingham Forest – and now Fulham must press the button on multiple new signings.
Marco Silva has been quiet in the transfer market and is seemingly content with his current squad which came 11th in the Premier League last season and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Fulham could lose some key players in the window like Antonee Robinson and Rodrigo Muniz, but neither have so far departed the club.
The West London side though are set to lose Traore, who will link up with his former boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal winger will replace Traore

Santo has lost winger Anthony Elanga to Newcastle and also wants to add depth to his attacking options ahead of the club’s return to European football.
The purchase of Traore will suit Santo’s counter-attacking style and replace the pace lost by Elanga’s departure.
Fulham can now sanction the move after it was exclusively revealed by Football Insider that Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson was close to returning to Craven Cottage.
Nelson spent last season on loan at Fulham and now looks set to join on a permanent deal with the Gunners stacked with attacking options.
Appearances | 13 |
Goals | 2 |
Assists | 1 |
A hamstring injury ruled Nelson out for the second half of last season, hampering his impact at the club and Silva will be expecting a greater impact in goals and assists on his return.
Fulham need to step up transfer ambition

Nelson is a positive signing for Fulham and the 25-year-old has yet to kick start his career, and will be eager to do so.
Silva though still needs to do more business if he is to improve on last season’s results and goalscoring is an issue.
Fulham could lose Muniz to Leeds and his side are short of natural finishers and they cannot rely solely on 34-year-old Raul Jimenez.
Agreeing a deal for free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin would boost Silva’s options, but if Fulham want to gatecrash the European places then the club needs to get the cheque book out.
Another deal with Arsenal could be close for Oleksandr Zinchenko which would show European ambition, whilst Raheem Sterling could also join from Chelsea.
It looks like another season of mid-table mediocrity if Fulham do not increase their transfer activity.
