Gibbs-White reacts to Dominic Solanke’s message after Tottenham transfer twist
Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White may have added fuel to the fire over his future after engaging with Dominic Solanke’s latest update.
Tottenham have undergone significant change this summer, with Thomas Frank now at the helm following Ange Postecoglou’s departure.
While Spurs have already signed Mohammed Kudus and made Mathys Tel a permanent deal, the side have also been keen on improving their midfield.
Tottenham had looked set to land Gibbs-White after triggering his £60 million release clause. However, the move took a dramatic turn as Nottingham Forest blocked the transfer and threatened legal action.
Club owner Evangelos Marinakis claims the release clause was confidential and has now reportedly cut off all communication with Tottenham regarding the matter.
Amid the uncertainty, Gibbs-White has added to the speculation with his activity on social media.

Morgan Gibbs-White joins Tottenham players to react to Solanke
While the transfer saga surrounding Gibbs-White rumbles on, Spurs have already kicked off pre-season in confident fashion with a 2-0 win over Reading.
Solanke posted an update for fans following the match, sharing several images from the club’s return to action with the caption: “Balance.”
Several players responded to the post, including James Maddison, Djed Spence, and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, who all liked the update.
However, one like that may have caught the attention of Tottenham supporters was from Gibbs-White himself—despite his future at Nottingham Forest remaining uncertain.
While Forest continue to threaten legal action over the release clause Spurs are believed to have triggered, Football Insider has reported that Gibbs-White is keen to make the move to Tottenham.
The midfielder enjoyed a standout campaign under Nuno Espirito Santo last season, scoring seven goals and providing ten assists across all 38 Premier League matches.
With the situation currently in limbo, Tottenham will hope Forest’s stance softens as they push to complete a deal.
Tottenham to make move for Illia Zabarnyi

With a deal for Gibbs-White stalling, it seems as if Spurs are still active in the transfer market as Football Insider revealed that Tottenham are advancing a move for Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi.
Bournemouth have lost multiple key targets and are desperate to keep hold of the centre-back, especially after the departures of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool.
It’s understood that a bid in the region of £60 million could be enough to tempt the Cherries into selling, though it remains to be seen if Spurs are prepared to meet that valuation.
