Celtic fans have reacted with hilarity on Twitter after loan star Scott Allan scored for Hibernian in their 5-5 draw with Rangers at Easter Road on Sunday.

The 26-year-old has rarely featured for the Bhoys but he has been a star for Hibernian since he returned to the side that the Bhoys originally signed him from.

Indeed, so good have been Allan’s performances for Neil Lennon’s side that one fan said that he should be given a ‘new deal’ for scoring against the Hoops bitter rivals.

Here are some of the best reactions from Hoops fans to Allan’s goal against Rangers:

Despite the hilarity over Allan’s goal, it seems highly unlikely that the player has any future at all in the East End of Glasgow, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he joined Hibernian on a permanent deal in the summer.

Indeed, if the Hoops decide to make a move for highly-rated Hibernian midfielder John McGinn then Allan could well be part of the deal.

Allan signed for the Hoops in 2015 under previous boss Ronny Deila, but he has struggled to make any kind of impact at all in his time at the club.

As well as his current loan spell at Hibernian, he has also had loan spells at Rotherham and Dundee.
