Insider: Clarke set to exit Tottenham on ‘1 January’ after impressing scouts
Jack Clarke could leave Tottenham on loan in January after impressing scouts with his recent performances.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Clarke, 21, bagged a goal as Tottenham’s Under-23s strolled to a 4-1 win over Everton’s Under-23s on 26 November.

On 25 November, Wenham revealed the attacker has spent more time training with the first team at Hotspur Way after being promoted from the Under-23s during November’s international break.
Wenham insists Clarke has gained confidence from his promotion and may have earned himself a loan move with his recent performances.
“Clarke is a player I have been critical of,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“But in the last three or four games, he’s got a load of assists and a few goals as well.
“He has looked really revitalised. I think he’s one who can go out on loan from 1 January.
“There will have been scouts at the last few games with the window coming up, they will have been impressed with those performances.
“So hopefully that has boosted his chances of getting a move.
“He has been doing a fair bit of training with the first team since Conte arrived and that seems to have given him the confidence he desperately needed.”

Clarke has only amassed 95 minutes of first-team minutes across four outings during his time at Spurs.
He joined Tottenham from Leeds United in a deal worth up to £13m in July 2019.
In other news, Tottenham are close to signing a new defender and deal is set to be agreed by 1 January after big development.
