Jack Grealish reacts to Jarrod Bowen’s latest West Ham message after his fury

Jarrod Bowen has sent upbeat and angry messages following West Ham’s 2-0 victory over Leicester City.

West Ham secured a second victory and clean sheet in a row with the win against Leicester at the London Stadium on 27 February.

Tomas Soucek opened the scoring with a tap-in after Mohamed Kudus’ shot was saved, and Bowen thought he had doubled the lead when his effort was deflected into the net by Jannik Vestergaard and was awarded as an own-goal.

However, Bowen hit out at the Premier League in another social media post, expressing his fury about the decision. Still, the win has lifted the side to 15th in the Premier League table.

Despite Bowen being regularly linked with a move to Liverpool, he has remained focused and continues to play a crucial role for the Hammers this season. His performances, particularly in the recent victory, underline his importance to the side.

Jack Grealish and Aaron Wan-Bissaka show support for Jarrod Bowen’s message to West Ham fans

Following West Ham’s victory, Bowen took to Instagram to share a picture of himself celebrating, accompanied by the caption, “Back to back.”

The winger is referring to the side’s impressive win over Arsenal in their previous match, where Bowen scored the crucial goal to almost all but end the Gunners’ title hopes. Jack Grealish showed his support by liking the post, as did teammates Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Max Kilman.

He has continued to impress under Graham Potter, just as he did earlier in the season under Julen Lopetegui before the manager’s departure.

In 25 appearances across all competitions, Bowen has contributed eight goals and four assists, accumulating a total of 2,179 minutes on the pitch.

Jarrod Bowen continues to prove his importance to West Ham after early relegation scare

Bowen was sidelined in January after picking up an injury at the end of December, which kept him out for a month. West Ham fans even claimed their season was over as it was a dismal part of the season for the side.

In addition to his injury, Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug were both also sidelined, leaving Bowen to cover at striker before his injury.

Since returning to the team, he has quickly adjusted to life under Potter, netting twice in his comeback. While West Ham remain in 15th place in the Premier League, their recent form has created a 16-point buffer between them and the relegation zone, easing some of the earlier-season worries.
