Jermaine Jenas has lauded Harry Winks for his display in midfield during Tottenham’s 3-0 FA Cup win over Fulham.
White Hart Lane academy product Winks started his second game of the week against the Championship outfit on Sunday, after featuring from the off against Belgian side Gent in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Former Spurs and England midfielder Jenas described the 21-year-old’s display against Fulham as a “another top performance” on his personal Twitter account.

Striker Harry Kane stole the show against London rivals Fulham as Spurs secured their place in the FA Cup quarter finals, by scoring all three goals at Craven Cottage.
But midfield sensation Winks impressed in the centre alongside summer signing Victor Wanyama, as his stock continues to rise following his breakthrough into Mauricio Pochettino’s first team this season.

His sharp display against Fulham rounded off a successful week for Winks, after the academy product signed his second new contract of the season keeping him with Spurs until 2022.
Making 27 appearances for Pochettino’s side this season, Winks has started two Premier League matches as well as all of Spurs’ FA Cup and EFL Cup matches.
His impressive performances could become a selection headache for former Southampton boss Pochettino, with Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama currently considered first choice.
Winks is likely to start a third successive game on Thursday night, as Belgian outfit Gent travel to London to face Spurs as they look to hold on to their 1-0 first-leg advantage.
