Joe Rodon tipped to quit Tottenham for newly-promoted side after source’s transfer reveal – pundit
Noel Whelan has tipped a newly-promoted side to sign Joe Rodon from Tottenham this summer.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested teams coming up from the Championship would want the 24-year-old’s Premier League experience on board.
A Tottenham source told Football Insider on Friday (22 April) that Spurs have told Rodon he is free to find a new club this summer.

This site revealed back in March that Rodon has now “100 per cent” made up his mind to leave in the summer.
Whelan suggested a move to a newly-promoted team could be on the cards if the defender wants to stay in the Premier League.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “He’s not in the category Conte wants in a centre-half. I don’t expect him to have a life at Tottenham.
“There are teams like Fulham who have already been promoted. There will be teams who look at him because of the Premier League status that he has had at Tottenham.
“Also, the fact that he’s an international and could be going to the World Cup. You never turn your nose up at a young centre-half.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if people who are promoted want to look at him as a possibility to take on.”

Rodon has played second fiddle to the other centre-backs at Tottenham since Antonio Conte took charge.
He has not featured at all in the Premier League under the Italian, despite featuring regularly in matchday squads.
In other news, England international has told friends he wants to join Tottenham this summer.
