Former Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has said that Harry Kane might have to consider leaving Tottenham if he wants to win trophies.
It’s the age-old debate that current manager Mauricio Pochettino must be sick of hearing by now but it’s unusual in this instance coming from AVB.
His stint at Tottenham wasn’t the most successful and he admitted himself that he failed Harry Kane while he was at the club.

However, in the article in the Independent, Villas-Boas said that Kane might give it another couple of years at Tottenham before deciding to move on.
“I think for Harry, one or two more years at Spurs wouldn’t be bad and then see how the club develops,” Villas-Boas said.
“With the new stadium coming through I also think that Spurs should have that margin from him.”
He also said that he was surprised at the rise of Kane after sending him out on a series of loans while he was at Tottenham.
Some Tottenham fans took his comments on board and said they were quite measured, but other Spurs fans clearly haven’t forgiven him from his stint as manager, labelling him a “fraud”.
