Leeds are planning on making a move for Swansea striker Oliver McBurnie and fans are massively excited.

Football Insider sources revealed on Wednesday that the player has impressed hugely on loan at Barnsley where he’s scored five in six Championship games.

And Football Insider sources have said that McBurnie is top of Paul Heckingbottom’s summer wish list as he plots a major squad overhaul.

Heckingbottom had tried to sign the player previously at Barnsley in the summer but the move fell through.

He finally got his man in January on loan for the remainder of the season, but ironically left a week later to join Leeds.

And it appears he’s a huge fan of the striker he thinks can fire Leeds back to the Premier League, as he’s set to try and sign him for the third time.

McBurnie joined Swansea in 2015 but he’s only made 18 appearances although he did sign a contract extension at the tail-end of 2016 that keeps him at the Welsh club until 2019.

However, if he’s not a part of the Premier League club’s plans, this would be the perfect time for them to cash in.

Leeds fans think the same way and have taken to Twitter to urge their new manager to seal the deal.

Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans to the claim that he’s the club’s top transfer target:
