‘Barca quality’, ‘Built like a bull’ – Leeds fans drool over one player from title-winning U18s
Leeds United Under-18s won the Professional Development League North title on Saturday as they beat Bolton 1-0.
Kun Temenuzhkov got the only goal of the game with a fantastic header in the first-half.
And, with the second-half remaining goalless, Leeds youngsters lifted the title ahead of the play-offs involving the top two from the southern section.
Fans swarmed onto Twitter to congratulate the youngsters and especially the match-winner Temenuzhkov.
The 18-year-old signed from the Barcelona B youth team in the summer and has impressed in the Under-23s and the Under-18s this season.
One fan said he was good enough for the first team and another said he was “better than Lasogga”.
One fan said he was “already a class act” with some Barca “swagger”.
With the Leeds senior failing to impress on any level this season, at least the supporters can see a bright future.
