Leeds fans react on Twitter to Alioski display v Preston
By Harvey Byrne
Leeds fans on Twitter have expressed their disappointment at the display of Ezgjan Alioski against Preston in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Yorkshire giants hosted the Lancashire outfit at Elland Road for their second match of their league campaign.
Thomas Christiansen will have been hoping to kick off his first league game at Elland Road with a victory, but Preston managed to hold them to a 0-0 draw.
A number of Leeds’ players came in for some criticism during and after the match and that included Alioski, who played the full 90 minutes.
Some fans commented on how many times the Macedonian gave the ball away, while others simply stated he had a poor game.

Not good enough yet. You can see what TC wants but not working. Wood isolated, too many rushed passes. Roofe & Alioski not delivering #lufc

Alisoki signed for Leeds in July from Swiss top-flight side Lugano, agreeing a four-year contract at the club.
Last season saw him return a fine 17 goals and 14 assists in 36 matches in all competitions, but he will have to perform better if he is to bring similar form with him to England.
The draw, meanwhile has seen Leeds slip down to seventh place in the Championship after last weekend’s win over Bolton.
In other Leeds news, Whites fans also questioned the decision to leave out 26-year-old before the match.
