'Real deal', 'Greatest signing', 'Class' – Leeds fans in meltdown as striker deal agreed - Sky

Leeds fans have reacted with delight to the shock news that their club has agreed a deal for West Brom striker Tyler Roberts.
It had looked like Leeds had failed in their efforts to bring in a new goal scorer in January, but it now appears they’ve pulled a deal out of the bag.
The 19-year-old Wales Under-21 international is out of contract in the summer and now it appears he could be dropping down a division to help fire Leeds towards promotion.
The news the clubs were in talks was announced by Phil Hay, a senior journalist with the Yorkshire Evening Post, on Tuesday night.

Sky Sports then claimed in their transfer blog (20.30) that sources have confirmed the deal has been rubber-stamped with a medical set for tomorrow.
Leeds fans are delighted with the news and think he could be the missing piece of the promotion jigsaw.
However, some fans are not convinced that an unproven 19-year-old is the way Leeds should be going.
Another said that with him and Jay-Roy Grot up front, the club will get promoted… in 2026!
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans after the news was announced:
