Leeds ‘have the money’ as Million Manhoef update revealed by O’Rourke
Leeds United have placed Stoke City winger Million Manhoef on their transfer list, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that “the money is there” for Leeds to be busy before the 31st August cut-off.
Jonathan Rowe has been talked about, but the Championship club faces stiff competition from Marseille and will face a battle making him turn the French outfit down.
Manhoef does feature on Leeds’ list of targets, but sources claim the 22-year-old isn’t at the top of it.
The White would likely struggle in signing Manhoef due to the fact he only arrived at Stoke in February, and the Potters have no desire to sell him.
Leeds United could benefit from Million Manhoef’s creativity
There is said to be pressure building on Leeds’ recruitment team this summer after losing two of their most creative players, and no replacement has been signed yet.
The Championship club needs to bring in some new faces, and the Netherlands Under-21 international could provide the attacking output they need.
Manhoef registered four goals and one assist in 14 games for Stoke last season and picked up another assist on the opening day of this season.

Rangers are looking to offload players due to their failure to qualify for the Champions League and would be open to offers for the winger.
