The 18-year-old centre-back has been a regular for the Under-23s this season and was included in the matchday squad for the recent FA Cup match against Newport.
Kitching could make his debut tomorrow against Salford City.
Football Insider verdict:
Kitching has a great deal of potential and it will be good for him to get experience at Harrogate, although it remains to be seen how long he will stay there for. He got his first taste of the Leeds first team in the recent FA Cup game, although it wasn’t a great result, with Leeds getting knocked out of the cup in a shock result and Samu Saiz coming on late and getting banned for six matches for spitting. Kitching didn’t get on the pitch but is definitely one for the future and fans will be hoping he impresses at Harrogate and returns a more accomplished player.
