Leeds could be the beneficiary of the Arsenal squad cull before the end of the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Goal report that Krystian Bielik is being readied for a loan move to get valuable first-team experience.
It is claimed that his representatives have already held talks with Leeds over a potential move.
However, other Championship clubs are in the running too, and Nottingham Forest, Leeds’ opponents this weekend, have also spoken about a loan deal.
Bielik was also said to have interested Norwich and German team Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the summer but a move didn’t materialise.
The versatile 19-year-old can play at centre-back or in midfield and is highly-rated at Arsenal where he has made two senior appearances in the EFL Cup.
He was loaned out to Championship rivals Birmingham for the second half of last season where he made 10 appearances, including seven games in a row where he played the full 90 minutes.
This news comes after a report from The Sun’s transfer expert, Alan Nixon, who claimed the 19-year-old would be allowed to leave the Gunners on loan.
In other Leeds news, fans have reacted with disbelief to the Whites’ Carabao Cup draw.
