
Dominic Solanke delivers message to Liverpool fans after international call-up

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has been called up to the England senior squad for Tuesday’s friendly match against Brazil at Wembley.
The 20-year-old has been called up by manager Gareth Southgate, alongside Bournemouth’s Steve Cook and Manchester City’s Angus Gunn.
Solanke expressed his delight by posting this message on his official Twitter account.
Solanke, Cook and Gunn all played for the England U-21s in the 2-0 victory over Ukraine on Friday night and joined up with the senior squad on Saturday evening.
The highly-rated youngster was top scorer for the England U-20 side that were crowned world champions in South Korea this summer, scoring four goals.
He has made seven Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season, since joining from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer.
He spent the 2015/16 season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, scoring seven goals in 25 appearances.
His Liverpool teammate Joe Gomez made his debut for England in the goalless draw with reigning world champions Germany on Friday.
Man United defender Phil Jones went off injured during the game and has withdrawn from the squad.
Southgate handed five England players their senior squad debuts and fielded the Three Lions most inexperienced side since 1980.
Solanke will be hoping to get his chance to show his quality against on the international stage against the five-time World Cup winners Brazil on Tuesday.
