Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez react to Liverpool v Spurs Dominik Szoboszlai post
Liverpool attackers Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez have reacted to a social media post from Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Reds are facing Tottenham in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Thursday evening (6 February).
Spurs went into the game with a slender 1-0 lead, following a surprise win when the two sides met in the first leg on 8 January.
Lucas Bergvall was the only scorer in that game, and Liverpool will be keen to overturn the result as their quest for an unprecedented quadruple continues.
The winner of the tie will face Newcastle in the final at Wembley on March 16, after the Magpies beat Arsenal 4-0 on aggregate across two legs.
Liverpool ace looks to extend fine form vs Tottenham at Anfield
Szoboszlai posted on Instagram with a simple message, saying “See you tomorrow, Reds!” as the Hungary international posts two pictures of himself at the Liverpool training ground.
Liverpool teammates, Diaz and Nunez both reacted by liking the post from the Hungarian midfielder.

Following a strong first season at Anfield following a move from German side, RB Leipzig, Szoboszlai has established himself as an integral part of Arne Slots’ side.
The former Salzburg man has built a strong relationship on the pitch with midfielders Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister.
Szoboszlai now has three goals and two assists in the Premier League this season, and had the ball in the back of the net in the first-half against Spurs, but it was ruled offside.
Arne Slot chose not to do Liverpool business in January
Despite links to his international teammate, Liverpool did not sign Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth during the January transfer window as the high-flying Reds banked on what they’ve got.
Andy Robertson has struggled with injuries and form this season, and there were some expectations that the Liverpool board would bring in a replacement for the legendary Scotland international.
Nunez was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but remained at the club despite rumours that Liverpool would be willing to accept a bid for the misfiring Uruguayan.
Liverpool may make a move for Jarrod Bowen, as the club have failed to agree a contract with Mohamed Salah amid rumours of a move to Al-Hilal.
Slot and Liverpool were clearly content to stick with the squad that they have, possibly for fear of disrupting what has been a successful season so far for the Reds.
