Luis Henrique to Everton: Moyes plan revealed in Newcastle & Forest race
Everton are set to enter a “major battle” to try and sign Marseille winger Luis Henrique in the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Merseyside giants have made signing new wingers a “priority” for the upcoming window.
That has been the case for the last couple of transfer windows and it isn’t going to change under David Moyes, as he wants to add some creativity and width to his team for next season.
Henrique is seen as someone who would fit the profile for the type of signing that Everton are looking for right now, being a young player with a lot of potential to develop.

That is the type of player that Moyes wants to sign right now, with Football Insider revealing that Everton are looking at the Championship for young players to develop.
Marseille are currently pushing to try and secure Champions League football and well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the French outfit will demand a big fee to sell him.

Everton will be competing with two Premier League sides for Henrique’s signature
Signing Henrique won’t be a simple situation for Everton because they are going to face competition from Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
The two top Premier League sides are both fighting for Champions League football this season and see Henrique as someone who will bolster their squads.
There is also the problem that Marseille are not currently interested in selling the winger, and they are in a strong negotiating position as the Brazilian is under contract until 2028.

David Moyes will make a decision about his loanee wingers
Everton will also have a decision to make about the futures of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison, who are both on loan at Goodison Park this season.
The Merseyside giants want to bolster their attacking options, but Football Insider revealed that the club aren’t expected to sign Harrison on a permanent contract.
On the other hand, Football Insider confirmed that a deal is ready to be done for Lindstrom if Moyes decides that he wants to keep him on a full-time basis.
