McAvennie tells Rangers fans Morelos and Kamara 'are off' after £14m update
Frank McAvennie predicts Alfredo Morelos and Glen Kamara will be sold by Rangers if acceptable bids come in.
The former Celtic striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to a worrying claim about the Gers’ finances.
As reported by the Athletic’s Jordan Campbell (July 8th), Rangers forecast they need to plug a £14million financial hole for the upcoming season.
The report stated the Gers are now considering player sales to become a self-sustainable model.
On 26th June, Football Insider revealed Rangers have told Porto that they want £13million for their star striker this summer.
This site also revealed in May that Arsenal have an interest in re-signing Kamara.

McAvennie insists Rangers will sell key players as an easy way to plug their financial hole.
“There is still plenty of time for things to happen,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“If somebody comes in and offers a decent fee for Morelos or Kamara I’m sorry to say Rangers fans, they are off.
“That’s a done deal. Gerrard will want to hold onto them but sometimes there’s not a lot to be done.
“That’s the easy way to fix the hole but they could also sell some of the fringe players.
“They keep bringing players into Ibrox, there’s a lot of players there.
“Rangers could always make that money up by selling more fringe players for less.”
Morelos, 25 has one year left on his Gers contract.
Kamara has two years left on his deal and is understood to be valued at £10million by the Ibrox club.
