Medical underway: Graeme Murty continues Rangers overhaul as player arrives at Ibrox - report
Greg Docherty is expected to arrive at Rangers to take his medical at 10.30am, according to a report.
The Daily Record claims that the 21-year-old is set to become Graeme Murty’s sixth signing in what has been a busy January window after the clubs agreed a £650,000 fee.
He joins the club on the back of Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy, Jason Cummings and Russell Martin all arriving at Ibrox.
Declan John made his loan deal permanent in the January window.
Football Insider verdict:
After the disastrous Pedro Caixinha experiment, you can’t help but be impressed with Graeme Murty. He says all the right things, has got the team winning consistently and seems to be buying the right players. Docherty is another January signing who will strengthen the team in the right way and – more important – will do nothing to disrupt the team spirit Murty has endowed in his side. Is it too late to challenge Celtic at the top of the table this season? Never say never.
