Mills: Chelsea told to offer Tottenham these three big-names for Kane after reveal

Chelsea should offer Tammy Abraham, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and £50million to Tottenham for Harry Kane.

That is the view of ex-England and Premier League defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about a potential deal that could see Kane move to Stamford Bridge.

Football Insider revealed in April the England captain is a top target for Chelsea and Roman Abramovich is willing to spend big to secure a deal.

This site understands their Premier League rivals Manchester United are also in the hunt for his signature and are willing to offer two players in a player-plus-cash deal.

But Mills has insisted Chelsea is a “perfect fit” for Kane and Abraham, Loftus-Cheek and Barkley would be welcome additions for Spurs.

He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: Chelsea would be a very good fit with the pace and everything they have. He would score a lot of goals at Chelsea and they’ve got the money.

“It would be the perfect fit. People will say ‘He won’t go to Chelsea because he’s a Tottenham boy.’ Harry Kane will go where Harry Kane wants to go because it’s the best fit.

It’s also London so it means he won’t have to move and the family won’t have to move. That makes a huge difference as well.

“You could send Tammy Abraham the other way, that works. You might offload Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley.

“Chelsea may say to them ‘You can have Abraham, Loftus-Cheek, Barkley and £50million for Harry Kane.’ I tell you what, it’s not bad.

“There’s a possibility of something like that happening. Tottenham would need those three players to strengthen their squad. It’s going to be an interesting situation.
