Why Newcastle should raid PL rivals for attacker, report states he will cost bargain £3m
COMMENT By Derek Smithson
Newcastle should consider a summer move for Chelsea attacker Isaiah Brown as they look to improve their squad for the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has thrived during loan spells with Rotherham and Huddersfield this season, which is likely to culminate in him featuring in the play-off final for the Terriers against Reading on Monday.
The Daily Mirror claim that Huddersfield are keen to sign the attacker on a permanent deal, but will suffer a significant blow if they fail to win promotion to the Premier League.
It is detailed that Premier League winners Chelsea would demand around £3million for his signature after his impressive performances in the Championship.
The £3million asking price is a bargain fee and Newcastle should seriously consider swooping for the England Under-20 international, with their Premier League status for next season already confirmed.

Rafael Benitez is set to add quality to his squad over the summer and could do with some extra firepower in attack.
The Magpies have star man Dwight Gayle, plus the likes of Daryl Murphy, Yoan Gouffran and Aleksandar Mitrovic, but will need to bolster their frontline to avoid relegation next year.
Brown could be the perfect fit at St James’ Park and he has proved that he has the potential to become a future star.
The striker spent the first half of the season on loan with Rotherham, where he scored three goals and supplied five assists in return.
He is blessed with good pace and trickery, making him one of the best young talents to be loaned out of Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle certainly need proven players to help them next year and Brown is not yet the finished article, but definitely now deserves a chance to play in the top flight and could turn out to be a very smart investment.
Brown will hope to leave his mark on Wembley during Huddersfield’s play-off final with Reading and add to his five goals for them.
