Newcastle star drops Anthony Elanga transfer hint in new message
William Osula may have sparked fresh speculation surrounding Newcastle target Anthony Elanga following his latest social media activity.
Newcastle are pushing to bring in a new attacker as part of their plans to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
However, the Magpies have already missed out on several key targets, with Chelsea completing deals for both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap — players who were also high on Eddie Howe’s radar.
Attention has now turned back to Nottingham Forest winger Elanga, with Newcastle reigniting their interest in the Sweden international.
Football Insider revealed Nottingham Forest are likely to demand upwards of £60million to sanction Elanga’s departure this summer.
While talk of a potential transfer continues to grow, Elanga’s latest Instagram post has only fuelled further speculation after it caught the attention of fellow players, including Osula, whose reaction didn’t go unnoticed among fans.

Anthony Elanga sparks Newcastle speculation with update away from Nottingham Forest
Elanga has shared an update from his holiday as speculation over his future at Nottingham Forest continues to grow amid interest from Newcastle.
The Sweden international posted a series of photos on Instagram, enjoying time away from football, but one picture in particular has caught the attention of Newcastle supporters.
Elanga was pictured alongside Newcastle striker Osula, who commented on the post: “My boy” followed by heart emojis, further fuelling speculation over a possible move to St James’ Park.
Other familiar faces showed their support for Elanga’s post, including Forest teammates Murillo, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Neco Williams, who recently signed a new long-term contract at Nottingham Forest.
The Magpies have already seen a £45million offer rejected by Nottingham Forest, but Football Insider revealed that Elanga is keen on making the move to Newcastle.
He enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, registering 18 goal contributions across all competitions, including 11 assists in the Premier League.
Newcastle supporters have been vocal in their desire to see the club land Elanga, particularly after the disappointment of seeing other attacking targets such as Pedro, Delap and Bryan Mbeumo.
Newcastle set to make decision on Harvey Barnes future

Should Elanga complete a move to Newcastle, it could spell the end of Harvey Barnes’ time at the club.
Football Insider revealed on 22 June that Newcastle are prepared to listen to offers for Barnes if they secure the signing of a new winger this summer.
The former Leicester man forced his way into Howe’s starting XI towards the end of last season, making 17 Premier League starts.
However, with the club needing to raise funds and competition for places intensifying, Barnes could be allowed to leave St James’ Park in search of regular first-team football elsewhere.
