Newcastle United news: Pundits shares ‘incredible’ Callum Wilson update
Newcastle United fan-favourite Callum Wilson is not expected to leave the club this summer despite rumours of a transfer move away.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Alan Hutton explained that the club will want to push on with Wilson involved.
The former Newcastle defender gushed that it was an “incredible” team to play for and he could not see why the striker would leave.
Football Insider previously reported (26 April) that the club will not be targeting a big-money replacement for Wilson.

Eddie Howe is also in favour of keeping Wilson at the club as he sees a future for him, sources told Football Insider.
Hutton expects Newcastle to continue to make progress on the pitch after a disappointing season, with Wilson remaining a part of that.
“You never know in football, but with that being said, I think he looks happy where he is,” he told Football Insider.
“He’s playing with a smile on his face and scoring goals. He’s had his injury problems, but whenever he’s called upon, he gets on the scoresheet.
“I don’t see why he’d want to leave that.
“They’re progressing really well and they’re moving forward. They didn’t do as well as they had done last season, but there are a lot of factors within that.
“They’ll be looking to motor on forward and Eddie Howe is trying to build something there.
“If you’re scoring goals and you’re happy, why would you want to leave? It’s an incredible team to play for and a special city, he’s probably loved up there.”
