Rangers striker is reportedly attracting interest from Turkish giants Besiktas, according to a report, and Gers fans find the idea absolutely ridiculous.

According to Yeni Akit, the Turks want to sign the 21-year-old after he hit the net 18 times in his debut season in Scotland.

The Scottish Sun  have also claimed that Besiktas are considering a year-long loan move for the Colombian with a view to a permanent move, just months after the Gers knocked back bids from the Chinese Super League for the striker.

Gers fans insisted that the only way the Colombian will leave is on a permanent deal this summer – with one saying the Gers should demand “big money or he stays.”

The Colombian was the Gers joint-top goalscorer last season on 18 goals with Josh Windass and a loan move doesn’t really make much sense unless the Ibrox giants get a hefty loan fee for the 21-year-old.

Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe made a number of bids for the Gers striker at the start of the year but were rebuffed by the Light Blues.

Morelos joined Rangers 11 months ago from Finnish champions HJK Helsinki in a £1million move.
